Part-Time Instructor, Health Information Technology

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical effort-restricted: Sustained posture or intense attentiveness for prolonged periods. Light lifting (less than 30 lbs.), some walking, pushing and pulling on a regular basis. Work environment: Minimal hazard/exposure: Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.

BENEFITS:

Part-Time Retirement. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Health Informatics, Computer Information Systems, or Health Information TechnologyExperience: One year of work experience in Health Information TechnologyCertifications: Current RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CDIP, CHDA, or CHPS certificationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Health Informatics, Computer Information Systems, or Health Information Technology
Experience: One year of work experience in Health Information Technology
Certifications: Current RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CDIP, CHDA, or CHPS certification
