Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and EduJobs, LLC covering edujobs.org, the EduJobs mobile app, and the services offered through them. By using EduJobs you agree to them. If you use EduJobs on behalf of a school, district, or other organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it, and “you” includes that organization.

Who may use EduJobs

You must be at least 16 years old. Employer features are for people authorized to recruit for the organization they represent.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under it. Give us accurate information and keep it current.

For job seekers

• The content you submit, including resumes and applications, must be yours and truthful.
• When you apply through EduJobs, you ask us to send your application and documents to that employer. The employer decides how to handle them under its own policies.
• Job alerts and applications are free for job seekers. We never charge a candidate.

For employers

• Postings must be for genuine, current openings at the organization you represent, and must be accurate and lawful, including equal employment opportunity laws. No posting may discriminate on a protected basis or require payment from applicants.
• You may claim an organization's page only if you are authorized to act for it. We may ask for verification and may refuse or revoke a claim.
• You are responsible for how you handle applicant information you receive, including keeping it confidential and using it only for hiring.
• We may edit, decline, or remove a posting that breaks these terms or that we believe is misleading.

Listings gathered from employer sites

Many postings on EduJobs are collected from employers' own careers pages so that job seekers can find them in one place. We present them as the employer published them and link to the employer's own system to apply. We do not guarantee that a collected posting is current or complete. An organization that wants its page corrected or its listings updated can contact us or claim the page.

Paid plans

Some employer features are paid. Prices, billing periods, and what each plan includes are shown at checkout and on the pricing page. Plans renew until cancelled; you can cancel from Billing and the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we say so at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site or its listings, or access it by automated means other than a search engine following our robots rules;
• post content that is false, infringing, defamatory, or unlawful;
• misrepresent who you are or who you work for;
• interfere with the service, probe its security, or try to reach data that is not yours.

Content and ownership

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give EduJobs, LLC a license to store, display, and transmit it as needed to run the service, for example to show a posting to job seekers or send an application to an employer. EduJobs itself, including its design, code, and compiled data, belongs to EduJobs, LLC.

Third-party sites

Apply links and other links lead to sites we do not control. Their terms and privacy practices are their own.

Disclaimers

EduJobs is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a posting is accurate, that a position is still open, that an application will be reviewed, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not a party to any hiring decision or employment relationship.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, EduJobs, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of EduJobs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing.

Indemnity

If you use EduJobs as an employer, you will defend and indemnify EduJobs, LLC against claims arising from your postings, your handling of applicant information, or your breach of these terms.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using EduJobs at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to a different forum.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the current version; a material change will be announced on the site or by email before it takes effect.
