Part-Time VPA Performance Staff

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Provides customer service and operational support for performances and events, including ushering, front-of-house assistance, event setup and strike, and/or stage management during the event. This position receives general direction from the Division Chair of Visual & Performing Arts. Employee may not exceed 19.5 hours per week.
NOTE: This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical effort-restricted: Sustained posture or intense attentiveness for prolonged periods. Light lifting (less than 30 lbs.), some walking, pushing, pulling on a regular basis. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.

BENEFITS:
Part-Time Retirement. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).
