Sales Representative - Student Media Center

Position Overview

The Sales Representative for the Student Media Center at Rider University will be primarily responsible for generating sales leads, building relationships with a local and regional customer base located in Mercer, Bucks and Burlington counties, and closing sales to earn commission-based income for 107.7 The Bronc, 107.7 The Bronc Retro, The Rider News and RUN-TV.

Compensation:

• 100% commission-based.
• Commission rate: 20% on new and returning business.
• Payment is contingent upon receipt of collections.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• 2+ years’ experience in media sales or a related field preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
