Assistant Professor - Comparative Women's Studies

The Women’s Research and Resource Center invites applications for a tenure- track position with a focus on women’s health at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning August 2027. Candidates should have teaching experience and a commitment to research in global women’s health and Women’s and Gender Studies. Candidates should be prepared to teach Introduction to Women’s Studies courses and upper-division courses in women’s health, and to assist in strengthening the women’s health concentration as a component of the Comparative Women’s Studies major. Specialized fields may include health status of women of African descent and comparative feminist health studies. Grant-writing experience, evidence of successful research, and the potential for publication are desirable.
