PE Instructional Assistant

Hill Country Elementary school is searching for an energetic, fun, and dedicated Physical Education Paraprofessional to join the Hill Country Elementary family.

Bandera ISD is a 4-Day instructional week district (Mon. - Thurs.)

Start Date: September 28, 2026.

• Employment Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Possess 48 hours of college credit from an accredited university/college OR Pass the NCLB Paraprofessional Assessment (Reading/ELAR, Math, and Essay)
• Pass Texas Criminal Background Check & Fingerprinting

• Job Description:
• Assistant to the P.E. Teacher for the instruction of the Physical Education curriculum

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist P.E. Teacher
• Supervise students during P.E. classes
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Support the campus as needed

• SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently under varying deadlines
• Ability to exercise tact, good judgment, and initiative in dealing with students, faculty, and the public
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing including clear, polite telephone communication skills
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work efficiently under minimum supervision
