Instructional Aide - Middle School South

Job Description:

Assist classrom teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher.

Start Date: September, 2026
Salary Range: (Based on 2025-2026 Compensation Plan):
Minimum: $12.00/hour
Midpoint: $13.45/hour

Salary commensurate with related experience

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Have met formal academic assessment, associate’s degree, or two years of study at an institution of higher learning

Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (District will make application to TEA once candidate is selected)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to work with small hildren

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Ability to communicate effectively

Knowledge of general office equipment
