Substitute Teachers

The Bermudian Springs School District partners with The Substitute Teacher Service (STS) to employ and manage our substitute teachers.

Please Note: These substitute positions are held by employees of The Substitute Teacher Service (STS), not by the Bermudian Springs School District. You cannot apply through the Bermudian Springs School District's online application system. You must contact STS directly to apply.

In addition, the Bermudian Springs School District will utilize substitutes following Act 86. The Act allows students enrolled in an accredited Pennsylvania college or university who are currently pursuing teacher certification to participate in a program that would allow them to substitute teach once they have earned 60 credit hours. The Substitute Teacher Service has modeled a program that complies with the requirements of the Act. For more information, contact STS.
