Step 1 - Hourly rate $17.97

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Honesty
• Cooperate and get along with others
• Basic math aptitude
• Work as a member of a team

Desirable:

• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions
• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to accept change

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of a Foodhandler include but are not limited to the following

• Prepares and serves food
• Maintains food supply inventories
• Stores and properly labels all unused food supplies and plans to utilize unused food at earliest opportunity
• Maintains the service table with an adequate amount of food at the proper temperature throughout serving time
• Complies with the recommendations of the Health Department
• Cleans equipment and service area
• Insures that equipment is turned off an storerooms, coolers, and freezers are secured at the end of the day
• Understands and maintains the academic and behavioral standards set for the students by the Building Principal
• Notifies the lunchroom manager of any discrepancies in deliveries or equipment problems
• Performs other duties as assigned
