Carmel Central School District is seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to provide instructional and student support at the middle school. Bilingual proficiency is highly preferred, and bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The ability to support students with diverse language needs is a significant priority for this position.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers with classroom instruction and activities; providing individual and small-group support; supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and daily classroom needs; supervising students throughout the school day; implementing teacher-directed instructional activities; and performing other related duties as assigned.
