SALARY: $20.00 per hour or $150.00 per day (when filling in for lead teacher). This is a non - benefited position.

All applicants must have a valid substitute teaching license from the Nevada Department of Education. Information on obtaining a Substitute Certification can be found at www.teachers.nv.gov .

Student teachers needed to fill elementary and secondary vacancies when regular elementary or secondary teachers are absent. Applicants selected must be able to teach a variety of subjects to students of the Carson City School District and work on an On-Call as needed basis ONLY. Bilingual preferred.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS THE PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN TEST.

INTERVIEW AND EXAMINATION: An appointment will need to be made with the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources for Student Teaching approval.
