Long Term Substitute Social Worker

Overview:

• To support school success and engagement by providing school social work services to students and families to support social emotional and life adjustment needs.
• Develop and provide prevention and intervention programming for students
• Advocate as a school community liaison for families by connecting them to needed resources/agencies
• Provide individual intervention
• Collaborate with community agencies to provide services to students.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ohio Teaching License - School Social Worker
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
• Master's Degree in Social Science Administration or in Social Work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three years of school social work experience
• Previous experience in a multicultural school district
