Special Education Coordinator (Secondary)

Salary Range: $70,865 - $85,378 (Minimum to Midpoint)
Contract days: 226

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred
• Valid Texas teaching certificate
• Five (5) years secondary special education teaching experience
• Knowledge of content area, curriculum writing, implementation and delivery of professional development
• Demonstrate leadership abilities in Special Education curriculum

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Demonstrates experience in the are of Special Education
• Some knowledge of bookkeeping, basic accounting, invenotry control and financial software programs that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• Valid Texas driver's license
• Working knowledge of word processing and data-based software
• Ability to interpret policy, procedures and data
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with budget preparation and the purchsing process preferred
