Elementary Paraprofessional (Computer Lab)

COMPUTER LAB PARAPROFESSIONAL

Position Purpose

Operate the elementary computer lab with an emphasis on Google Workspace and provide instructional and inclusion support to students across the campus. Assist with assigned student supervision, including lunch duties.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate and maintain the elementary computer lab and instructional technology.
• Provide students with instruction and assistance using Google Workspace and other technology.
• Provide inclusion support in general education classrooms.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce academic and technology skills.
• Assist teachers with instructional materials, classroom activities, and student needs.
• Support students with accommodations and instructional activities as directed by teachers and administrators.
• Supervise students during assigned lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and other campus duties.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment for students.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and school information.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators.

Additional Duties

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal or supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Physical and Work Environment

Works primarily in a school environment, including classrooms, computer lab, and cafeteria. Must be able to move throughout the campus and assist with student supervision and instructional activities.
