Job Title: Maintenance Specialist (Adjunct)

Reports to: Director of Facilities Operations

Salary: Part time position- less than 20 hours per week with an hourly rate of $25.00.

Primary Purpose

As Maintenance Specialist Adjunct Employee, you will work independently and collaboratively within a team to perform facility maintenance functions. The role involves ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds, maintaining a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will serve as a representative of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public. The candidate will assist in the completion of the daily or weekly work activities as prescribed by the employer to ensure a program of maintenance that promotes the comfort, health, and safety of clients and staff.

Required Qualifications (years of experience, education, certifications)

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or appropriate work experience
• Texas driver's license and insurability required
• Motor vehicle records clearance required
• Good employment history in hospitality, construction and/or building maintenance
• Experience working independently and following directions
• Experience in self-directed work
• Experience with deliveries and handling materials
• Ability to understand and communicate safety instructions
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
• Computer Literacy
