Position: Teacher Resident (SFA Students)

Primary Purpose:

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the assigned core academic subject area to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills necessary to function successfully in society.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• Residency candidate must be enrolled in an accredited university.
• Residency candidate must be enrolled in an Educator Preparation Program at the university and seeking a Texas teaching certification.
• Residency candidate must demonstrate competency in the assigned core academic subject area.• Physical Education teachers: Current automated external defibrillator (AED) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
