Substitute Registered Nurse

Position: Substitute Registered Nurse

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Maintain established schedule, routines, and procedures of the school nurse on the assigned campus
• Ensure the health and welfare of students and staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a Registered Nurse
• Provide original transcripts showing degree(s) from an accredited professional nursing education program
• Valid license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners
• CPR, AED and basic first aid certification
• Clearance of criminal history background check
• Clearance of fingerprinting
• Substitute orientation will not be required for a Nurse substitute but the substitute will need to contact Lead Nurse, Erica Hollister at, ehollister@dickinsonisd.org
