Qualifications:
Education/Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Food Service Management, Nutrition or a related field
• School Nutrition Specialist (SNS), TASBO Certification, or Master's Degree, preferred
• Clear and valid driver's license

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years of business operations experience, including experience working for a school district food service department

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in business practices, finance, personnel management, and cost accounting
• Demonstrated knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local regulations related to National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, At-Risk Child, Adult Care Food Program, and Summer Food Service Program
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, evaluate accounting problems, develop data, and recommend improved procedures
• Ability to use software to develop complex accounting reports, spreadsheets, and databases
• Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
