Great Valley School District is seeking an innovative, dedicated and compassionate Long-Term Substitute Elementary Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and critical thinking. This role involves teaching core subjects to Grade 4 students, while integrating technology and differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with PA state standards and district curriculum
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, staff, and administration to enhance instructional practices and promote a positive learning environment
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into daily instruction
• Support students' social-emotional development and classroom behavior management
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Elementary certification (PK-4) required
• Bachelor's degree in education, or related ?eld
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with diverse learners and differentiated instruction
• Commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration

2026-2027 Salary Schedule (prorated):

Bachelor's degree (Step 1) $64,632 to Doctorate degree (Step 1) $92,828
