Middle School Social Studies Teacher - Leave Replacement

Dates: November 16, 2026 through February 13, 2027
Pay: $200/day

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ Teaching Certificate
• Experience working with middle school students (preferred)
• Proficiency in Google Classroom, G-Suite
• Desires to promote a greater awareness of and engagement in global issues by combining interdisciplinary academic learning with application to real-world experiences
• Passion for community engagement and service
• Knowledge of effective instructional practices and strategies
• Knowledge of the New Jersey Standards for Student Learning for Social Studies
• Ability to collaborate effectively
• Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes
• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators, and the community
