Job Title: Bilingual Classroom Teacher
Location: Greenville ISD District Wide (All levels)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Bilingual Classroom Teacher to join our district-wide team at Greenville ISD. This is a pool position, offering the opportunity to work across various schools within our district, providing a diverse and enriching experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to district curriculum and state standards.
• Provide instruction in both English and a second language, fostering a bilingual learning environment.
• Evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximize student learning.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on educational trends and advancements.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe classroom environment.

Skills:

• Excellent bilingual communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of curriculum and instruction design.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different student needs.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Certifications:

Candidates must hold a valid teaching certification. Additional certifications or endorsements in bilingual education are highly desirable.
