High School Counselors Pool 2026-2027

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive program of guidance to school assigned, including counseling services. Provide a proactive, developmental guidance program for all students to maximize personal growth and development.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:

• A master's degree
• School counselor's certificate

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate a computer

Experience:

• Two years teaching experience preferred

CALENDAR: Work Calendar varies according to position
Salary: Contingent on Experience
Minimun - $61,376

(High School Counselor salary is based on calendar workdays ranging from 200 days to 215 days)
