Hemphill ISD Chief Of Police

Hemphill ISD is seeking an experienced law enforcement leader to serve as Chief Of Police. The Chief of Police will provide strategic leadership for district-wide safety and security across three campuses and multiple facilities, ensuring a safe, secure, and supportive environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all Police Department operations, Oversee campus safety, security, and emergency response, Enforce federal, state, and local law, Collaborate with district leadership, staff, law enforcement agencies, and community patners, Promote professionalism, accountability, and equitable interactions with students, Develop and maintain effective safety and security practices throughout the district, Provide leadership and direction during emergencies and critical incidents

Minimum Qualifications: Valid Texas Driver's License, Valid Texas Peach Officer License, Supervisory experience, Ability to meet all Hemphill ISD employment and district requirements, Ability to successfully pass required medical, psychological, and background checks, Demonstrated leadership and management experience in law enforcement
