Campus Volunteer (District-Wide) 2026-2027

Eligibility & Clearance Guidelines:

• Age Requirement: All volunteer applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Volunteer applications must be renewed every school year

The online application is required if you are:

• Attending an off-campus field trip
• An athletics event worker (non-district staff)
• A non-parent volunteer
• Assisting with any after-school event

Applications must be submitted 7-10 days prior to the field trip.

Not required if you are:

On-Campus Volunteer: If you are volunteering in the classroom or helping with an on-campus event during school hours, simply bring a valid photo ID and check in using the Verkada Verification System at the school's front office.

Active JISD Employees:Current district employees do not need to fill out the volunteer application. To get campus clearance, simply present your official JISD employee badge and scan through the front office Verkada system.
