2026-2027 Substitute Teacher

Pampa ISD Substitutes teach all grade levels K-12 in multiple subject areas.
Substitutes can select their preferred campus(es).

All potential substitutes must:

1) Have a High School Diploma/GED,

• Must be 18 years old. Must be 21 years of age to sub at secondary campuses.
• Complete this application,

• Interview and hiring approval by HR Department,
• Be fingerprinted (paid by PISD),

6) Receive Substitute Training (provided by PISD)

Proof of high school diploma/GED, or college transcripts will be required at your interview/training step of the process.
