Standby Bus Aide

Description:

• Little Miami Transportation department is looking for a 6 hour per day standby bus aide. A standby driver position is a contracted route that does qualify for benefits. Standbys are guaranteed 6 hours per day. The bus aide serves as a flexible, on-call transportation aide. This position steps onto varying bus routes as needed, rapidly adapting to new schedules while strictly upholding all mandatory safety regulations and utilizing specialized transportation equipment. The bus aide communicates effectively with students possessing a wide spectrum of disabilities, as well as their parents, caregivers, and school staff.

Pay:

• Starting pay is $18.70 per hour and can go up to $22.82 per hour pending experience

Benefits:

• The Board pays 90% of the Health premium, 95% of the Dental premium, and 60% of the Vision premium. The Board contributes $2,000 to your HSA annually if you choose a family plan. The Board contributes $1,100 to your HSA annually if you choose a single plan.
