• General Job Description:
• Part-time, evening welding instructor, fill in as needed.
• Provide instruction to adults in Welding.
• Provide instruction in group setting or individually.
• Curriculum created/adjust to class needs.
• Attend yearly Maplewood Advisory Board meeting for Welding Technologies/Modular Welding.
• Ability to teach in class or lab setting.
• Evening hours 5:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Reports to: Director of Adult Education

• Qualifications:
• Must have 5 years work experience and a high school diploma.
• Welding Certification(s) preferred; weld test required.
• Teaching experience not required, but preferred.
• Desire to work with adult learners.
• Provide BCI/FBI Background Check (this can be done at Maplewood).
• Current Ohio Department of Education Adult Education Teaching Certificate (apply for after employment).
• Communication skills.
• Ability to use computer (email/Word/PowerPoint).

SALARY:
$25 per hour
