Academy Childcare Worker

Job Description
Assist with after school childcare between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 p.m., with additional dates/hours on other dates (i.e. New Teacher Orientation, Teacher workdays, Summer Camps, etc)

Job Qualifications
Education/Certification:

• Ability to work with children
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Knowledge of general office equipment

Duties and Responsibilities

Student Management
Assist students

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.

Equipment Used:
Wheelchair lift, ramp, personal computer, copier, and audiovisual equipment.

Working Conditions:
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress.
Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
Biological exposure to bacteria and communicable diseases.
