Middle Township Public Schools is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Curriculum and Instruction Office. This position involves varied clerical and administrative work, including maintaining records, preparing correspondence and reports, using district information systems, and organizing work to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with teacher certification, provisional licensing, mentoring, observations, evaluations, and NJEdCert records.
Preparing curriculum materials, meeting agendas, and items for Board approval and website publication.
Supporting Title I, II, III, and IV grants through expenditure tracking, purchase orders, records, reporting, and audits.
Coordinating the handling of secure district and state testing materials.
Processing student field placements, clearances, Board approval items, and college affiliation agreements.
Maintaining the district calendar and supporting professional development, staff training, ESL, Basic Skills, non-public school services, and state reporting.
Providing administrative support for the State-Funded Recovery High School, including scheduling, enrollment, attendance, grades, reporting, and purchase orders.
Maintaining staff accounts and records in systems such as OnCourse, iObservation, PublicSchoolWORKS, and Renaissance.
Applicants should have strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, computer proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines while working effectively with staff and the public.
