Group Leader - Falcon Care at Woodland 2026-2027 School Year (285)

• Position:: Group Leader � Falcon Care
• Location:: Falcon Care @ Woodland Elementary School
• Qualifications:
• High School Diploma and some college credits.
• Must be available Monday-Friday:
• 7:00 a.m. � 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. -6:30 p.m.

• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Bloodborne Pathogens training required.
• Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting required.

Ability to work as part of a team.

• Responsibility:
• Assist the Site Coordinator with planning and implementing all school age activities. Attend staff meetings.
• Always oversee the safety and whereabouts of the children in the group, providing a safe, interactive program.
• Plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.
• Actively interact with all children to encourage development and involvement in activities.
• Model appropriate positive guidance techniques that include redirection, positive reinforcement of children's efforts, and anticipation of elimination of potential problems.
• Maintain a professional relationship with parents through regular communication.
• Participate in the maintenance of the facility to ensure it is always clean, including but not limited to: wiping tables, picking up trash, cleaning up spills, cleaning toys and supplies, sweeping after meals or art activities, ensure clean bathroom.

Availability:: Immediately through June 30, 2027

5.5 hours/day
Salary:: Non-affiliated position starting at $16.00/hour
