For the 2027-2028 academic year, Morris County Vocational School District has an anticipated opening for a full-time, tenure track, Teacher of Automotive Technology. Candidates holding a CE, CEAS, or Standard certification in Automotive Technology are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Teacher of Automotive Technology (endorsement code #4182) is required. Please click the link for endorsement code #4182 for information on obtaining the certificate.
• ASE Certification required.
• Exceptional knowledge of industry-standard safety requirements, and the ability to run a safe automotive technology classroom.
• Strong subject matter and NJSLS knowledge.
• Ability to differentiate instruction based upon individual student need and interest.
• Skill set in lesson planning, curriculum development, assessment, and implementing a variety of pedagogical strategies.
• Experience utilizing data to make informed instructional decisions.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $67,110 to $110,885. This position is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health, prescription, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan, sick, personal, bereavement, and family illness days.
