Substitute Positions (Classroom)

The Fairfield Independent School District is looking for eager substitutes over 21 years of age who would enjoy any opportunity to work with students PK to 12th grade. A criminal history check and fingerprinting will be required. New applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and have received substitute training.

Fingerprinting fees (approximately $50) are the responsibility of the applicant.

Once your application has been received, you will be contacted by the HR office to begin the process of fingerprinting. You will be contacted via email. Please be patient; there are a series of steps in the process that take some time. Applications for substitutes are processed bi-weekly.

Once a training session has been scheduled, you will be notified via email.
