Position Summary

Orange Community Education & Recreation is seeking certified Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors to work flexible, part-time hours throughout the year. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of participants during aquatic programs and providing instruction in accordance with established safety standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• Current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid through the American Red Cross
• Concussion Law Certification and Lindsay's Law (Sudden Cardiac Arrest) Certification
• Ability to pass a required background check
• Physically capable of performing all required safety, rescue, and emergency response procedures
• Valid driver's license required
