Lighting and Sound - Assistant Advisor

POSITION TITLE: Lighting & Sound Assistant Advisor
LOCATION: High School
POSITION GOAL: Provide an organized activity so as to provide participants personal growth opportunity for achievement

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Split the following responsibilities with the Lighting & Sound Head Advisor
• Attend training on light and sound systems boards.
• Attend all after school events in the HS auditorium that require lights and/or sound. The calendar of events is maintained in FMX as well as the OJR HS Activities Calendar.
• Organize and train student volunteers to assist at these events.
• Work with the Fall Play, Musical, and Spring Showcase staff to support their needs.
• Maintain equipment and facilitate repairs when needed.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Per REA Agreement for the 2026-2027 school year- 2 units
• Annual assignment appointed by the Board of School Directors as recommended by Administration.
• According to the School District Policy Manual (available online at www.ojrsd.com).
