JOB TITLE: Temporary Paraprofessional
STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Hiring Manager and Human Resources
TERMS: 185 Day (as needed)
PAY GRADE: $10.00/Hour

Primary Purpose:
Responsible for fulfilling the duties of the absent aide.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to operate office equipment including computers for clerks
• Ability to work effectively with people

Experience:

• Working with diverse groups

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work with all children
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment conducive to learning
• Answer incoming calls, take reliable messages and/or route to appropriate staff
• Sort, distribute, or deliver mail and other documents
• Operate office and classroom equipment including computers
• Perform other related duties as assigned
