JOB SUMMARY

The Intervention Specialist will collaborate with classroom teachers to design and implement instructional strategies that support English Language Learners (ELLs) in accessing grade-level curriculum and achieving academic success. They will analyze student data, assist with appropriate scheduling, monitor language acquisition progress, provide targeted interventions, coaching, and resources to help teachers differentiate instruction for diverse language needs. Elementary experience, ESOL Endorsement/Reading Endorsement is preferred.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education, or related field
• Minimum of three years’ experience in the area of assignment

OR

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate
