Substitute Paraprofessional

Overview:
The Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified applicants for Substitute Paraprofessional position Classroom/Special Education Aides.
These substitute positions are on an as-needed basis and hours can range per day.
Pay Rate:
$16.50 per hour

Job Qualifications:
•Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit, with ESEA endorsement issued by ODE or willing to complete the process to obtain this credential prior to starting
•High school diploma/GED equivalency, college level training preferred
•Knowledge of and experience with assistive technology preferred
•Ability to communicate well with others both orally and in written communication
•Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed
• Must be respectful and work collaboratively with peers
• Must be dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic
• Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations
• Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
