*This is a federally funded position and is subject to the availability of funding.
Primary Purpose:
Plans, organizes, and coordinates the development, implementation, and monitoring of all Title I federally funded Campus projects to support the District's educational goals and strategies. Supports complex projects at approximately 26 Title I campuses and outreach organizations. Supports the communication of grant guidelines, program policies, District policies and procedures; maintains organizational and managerial accountability structures, and guides and coordinates the implementation of Title I and other related programs. Collaborates with school leadership and administrative staff and assists eligible campuses and departments in understanding grant requirements; maintains appropriate documentation, and ensures adherence to federal, state, and local policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
- Master's Degree (preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding education and students to ensure compliance
- Knowledge of applicable District policies and procedures
- Knowledge of District recordkeeping procedures
- Knowledge of business English, spelling, general vocabulary, and arithmetic
- Knowledge of records administration and maintenance techniques and procedures
- Skill in performing basic mathematical calculations with accuracy
- Skill at the intermediate level, working with Google Suite, Title I Crate, Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Skill in communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
- Skill in researching and writing, with a strong knowledge of business correspondence formatting, including language, grammar, and punctuation
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals
- Ability to present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations
- Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, and reports
- Ability to use software to access databases, email, create spreadsheets, and do word processing
- Ability to organize and coordinate work

Experience:
- 2-4 years' related experience in one or more of the following areas: Monitoring compliance for grants and projects, or other grant-related involvement
- Experience in project planning and management
- Experience in planning and delivering trainings
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Guides and assists in the implementation of grant action plans, maintaining activity documentation and timelines, tracking major milestones, and corresponding with grant owners regarding documentation and compliance
- Facilitates grant management and communication processes (such as agendas, templates, announcements, and minutes)
- Serves as liaison between school and district on Title I processes and procedures
- Applies knowledge of project management practices within the framework of District procedures to help accomplish goals of grants
- Maintains and gains knowledge of federal and state funding policies, requirements, and procedures; disseminates information to departments and campuses, and advises on change
- Plans, organizes, and provides project management structure to activities of grant administration
- Develops and implements a continuing evaluation of Title I programs and implement changes based on the findings
- Provides training to campus administrators on federal compliance requirements
- Provide continuous monitoring and campus audits to ensure campus compliance with Title I regulations
- Provides training on Title I procedures to campus administrators, Title I contacts and secretaries
- Compiles, maintains, and files all reports, records, and other documents required
- Assists and provides training and information to Title I campus liaisons
- Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required
- Follow all rules, regulations and policies of Plano ISD and follow directives from supervisors
- Follow attendance policy as assigned by supervisor
- Perform other functions that may be assigned by the administration and/or supervisor
