Substitute Teacher

Pottsgrove School District is actively seeking reliable, dedicated individuals to support our students and classroom teachers as substitute teachers. If you hold a bachelor’s degree, you are eligible to step into the classroom and impact student learning every day—no PA teaching certification required.

Competitive Daily Rates

• Building Substitute Teachers: $175 / day (Work every day in the same school building)
• Day-to-Day Substitute Teachers: $145 / day (Flexible scheduling based on your availability)

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Required state background clearances (or willingness to obtain)
• Passion for supporting students and school communities

Location: all buildings - West Pottsgrove Elementary, Ringing Rocks Elementary, Lower Pottsgrove Elementary, Middle School, and High School

Positions are employed through our substitute staffing partner, Kelly Education.
