26/27 Per Diem Bus Drivers

Robbinsville Public Schools

The following (multiple) positions are available for the 25-26 school year:

Per Diem Bus Driver
$41.39/hr (max 29 hours/week)

(Current hourly rate based on 25/26 school year. 26/27 School year rate is pending contract negotiations)
Non-benefits eligible

- Must hold CDL Class B driver's license with P and S endorsement issued by Motor Vehicle Commission.

- Must be able to demonstrate physical dexterity to perform the duties of a bus driver including but not limited to:

• Push open bus door (approximately 25 pounds
• of force) and pull closed bus door (approximately 10 pounds of force).

- Drive for at least one hour continuously.

- Lift a fire extinguisher to desk chair height to extinguish fires (approximately nine pounds).

• Perform all operations required to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles including bending, twisting, or stretching to use gear shift, adjust or look in all mirrors to observe passengers and road for traffic, use radio.
• Verbally communicate directions to passengers.
