Substitute Teacher (Less than 60 College hrs) - Job # 8741

Minimum Requirements:
A completed application within FRONTLINE must be submitted by October 15, 2026 in order to be eligible for an invitation to the Substitute Teacher Orientation.
Transcript must be uploaded to application
Minumum of High School Degree/GED Required
References must complete online survey (survey is sent automatically once application is fully submitted)
Applicants with less than 60 college credits must complete the STEDI course to obtain a SubDiploma OR obtain an Educational Aide I Certification approved through Texas Education Agency (TEA).
If completing the STEDI course, you will need to pass with a minimum score
of 85%. The SubDiploma must be uploaded to application. The course link can be found on the District Website at www.sfdr-cisd.org , click employment, click Stedi (new substitutes). The cost is $49.95.
Fingerprinting information will be shared at the Substitute Teacher Orientation. The cost will be $47.99.

Applicant must be proficient in the English language.

Secondary and High School Campus Requirements:
Substitute must be at least 25 years of age.
