ARD Facilitator

Job Summary: The ARD facilitator is responsible for supporting district special education staff in the areas of
ARD processes and procedures; IEP development; data collection for district and state
compliance monitoring and reporting; and training on practices that support current special
education guidelines and rules.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Special Education Certification (or other equivalent related license/certification)
Bachelor's Degree or applicable experience preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Working knowledge of federal laws, state guidelines and local district policies
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Ability to provide adult professional learning in effective ARD process and IEP preparation
Ability to develop IEPs which provide effective services for students in the least restrictive

environment

Knowledge of general education curriculum; related services; special education supports
Ability to use educational technology platforms (Google suite, Microsoft Office tools, IEP

management program, or similar programs)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in special education at campus level
Preferred 1 year of special education leadership at a campus or district level
