Grounds Technician II

Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Athletic Fields. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: the maintenance, repair, painting, fertilizing, spraying cultural practices
and mowing the athletics fields, fertilization, irrigation, field painting and preparation for athletic
contests, game day set up.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
Valid Texas driver's license
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to understand detailed written or oral instructions
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to operate power-driven equipment
Experience:
Experience in athletic filed maintenance is strongly desired. Considerable experience in the
operation and maintenance of athletic field facilities is preferred.
