Full-Time Tutor, assigned to Nordonia Hills City Schools

Term: 6-8 weeks
Focus: Academic Support

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and supportive Academic Tutor to provide individualized and/or small-group academic assistance to students during a 6-8 week assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic support and assistance with assignments and coursework.
• Reinforce classroom instruction and skills.
• Help students develop effective study and learning strategies.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with school staff as needed.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with school-age students preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students.

Salary: Salary schedule placement commensurate with experience and training.
