About this role

Grounds Equipment Repairperson

Pearson Center 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. 8 hours, 12 months

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Certificate of training in repair of small engines required
  • Minimum of three (3) year’s experience in small engine and ground equipment repair preferred
  • Must be skilled in the proper operation of all types of vehicles, tractors, and specialized grounds equipment
  • Must possess good communication skills and the ability to orally communicate in an effective manner
  • Must possess limited computer skills for the purpose of record keeping
  • Must possess valid Driver’s license and meet TPS vehicle fleet insurance criteria and maintain the same
  • Must pass Toledo Public Schools related skills and physical standards testing
