LTS Certified School Nurse (CSN) - Hillsdale Elementary

The West Chester Area School District has the following Long Term Substitute Certified School Nurse (CSN) position available:

1.0 - LTS Certified School Nurse (CSN) - Hillsdale Elementary

(Approximate dates: January 2027 through May 2027)

The Certified School Nurse plans, implements, and evaluates the mandated School Health Services as defined by the Pennsylvania School Code and initiates health problem follow-up, counseling and referrals to ensure comprehensive student health care. The certified school nurse initiates student and staff health education, wellness and safety programs that promote healthy lifestyles and the utilization of community resources.

Minimum requirements for this position are:

• BSN with valid PA certification
• Proficiency in the use of technology for individual communication, research and statistical reporting
• Proficiency in presentation of technology to enhance small and large student group information and demonstration sessions
• Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with other teachers, administrators

Salary: PER CONTRACT
