Qualified coaches are advocates for a positive sporting culture with a focus on student safety, program success, and educational support. Coaches are expected to lead their sports program by providing a high-quality instructional environment that teaches the game, prepares athletes for competition, and plans for their team’s future direction.

• Valid New York State Physical Education teacher certification or valid New
• York State coaching certification.
• Knowledge and background in the assigned sport.
• Previous coaching experience in the assigned sport is desired.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
