Correctional Library Specialist (Huntsville Center)

Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Associate’s (or higher) degree required or sixty (60) college hours without a degree
• Two (2) years of experience in library, educational support, or information services
• Experience providing customer service, training, or instructional support
• Must pass a criminal background check by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ)

• Preferred
• Bachelor's (or higher) degree
• Library coursework or equivalent experience
• Experience using EBSCO and business research databases
• Experience in a correctional, educational, academic, or public library setting
