Part Time Nursing Clinical Instructor

SUNY Niagara is seeking part-time Nursing Instructors for the Spring 2027 semester. The clinical assignments will be held once per week either with a 6 hour lab or a 12 hour lab. Instructors will teach in following clinical areas:

NUR 212

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday days available for clinical
• All clinical times are 6am-6:30pm
• Content areas are Oncology/Renal and Nutrition/Endocrine
• Compensation: $10,836.00 for 15 weeks

We are willing to work with clinical instructors to identify an appropriate hospital facility for their clinical placements.

NUR 112

Maternity

Clinical sites we use are: OSHEI, MFSH, NFMMC, Mercy and Sisters but we can work with the instructor to identify a preferable site.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday are the days available for the maternity portion of clinical ONLY, 7am-1:30pm and 2pm-8:30pm

Starts the week of 1/20/27 Ends 3/8/2027

Med Surg

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday are the days available for the med surg portion of clinical, times are 7am-1:30pm and 2pm-8:30pm
• Starts 3/10/207 Ends 5/8/2027
• Compensation: $5,418.00 for 15 weeks if teaching both contents only, pay will be different if teaching just one content.

We are willing to work with clinical instructors to identify an appropriate hospital facility for their clinical placements.

Paid orientation to teaching, responsibilities will be provided. Individuals with current clinical proficiency and/or teaching experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Selected candidates may apply when applicable for a possible scholarship to earn a Master's of Science in Nursing Education.
