Dean of Education

The Dean of Education is charged with establishing, implementing, and evaluating the strategic priorities of the School of Education. The Dean reports directly to the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and provides leadership to the program directors, faculty, and staff in the School of Education. Working with the program directors, the Dean is responsible for the School’s academic program quality, assessment of curriculum and instruction, fostering faculty research and scholarship, budgeting and fiscal management, fundraising, and new program development. Successful candidates must possess a record of academic and scholarly excellence that meets or exceeds the University’s criteria for appointment as a full professor. The start date for this position is August 1, 2026
